A busy medical practice in Thousand Oaks is looking for a back-office Medical Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on MA who enjoys patient care and variety in their day.

Schedule

Full-time, temp to perm. Hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

What you will do

  • Room patients and take vitals and chief complaint
  • Chaperone exams
  • Assist providers with minor procedures
  • Perform phlebotomy
  • Enter information into the EMR
  • Clean and sanitize exam rooms between patients

What you need

  • Medical assistant experience (certification a plus)
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Comfortable assisting with minor procedures
  • EMR experience
