A Manhattan endoscopy center is looking for an experienced Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians in the procedure room. Starts as maternity-leave coverage with a real chance to go permanent. Reprocessing experience is a plus – we have a reprocessing opening at the same center too.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts a week, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

What you will do

  • Assist physicians during endoscopies, colonoscopies, biopsies and snare procedures
  • Set up and turn over procedure rooms
  • Clean and reprocess scopes and equipment to infection-control standards
  • Keep the room stocked and procedures running on time

What you need

  • Hands-on endoscopy tech experience
  • Knowledge of scope reprocessing and infection control
  • Reliable, steady and calm in a fast-paced procedure room
