We are hiring several Certified Medical Assistants for a well-established multi-specialty medical practice in Manhattan. Direct hire – permanent from day one, with full benefits.
Schedule
Full time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; weekends as needed. In person.
What you will do
- Greet and room patients; take history, vital signs and chief complaint
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs and specimen collection
- Assist providers with exams, treatments and procedures
- Prepare medications and injections as directed
- Clean and sterilize rooms and instruments; follow infection control, OSHA and CLIA
- Handle provider calls, patient questions and refill requests; notify patients of results
What you need
- Medical Assistant certification
- Confident with vital signs, phlebotomy and medication administration
- 1 year of medical office experience preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented and a great communicator
